What started as a simple T-shirt line slowly became my creative outlet; my mirror, my medium, and honestly, my way back to myself.
Mr Garbe was born from wanting to make clothes that weren’t just cool, but carried meaning. Pieces that reminded us of who we are, where we’re from, and the stories we hold onto.
Over time, both the brand and I grew up. I started craving clothing that didn’t just tell stories but lived them, pieces you reach for on birthdays, weddings, holidays and the in-between moments too; the brunches that become evening drinks, concerts and festivals that become core memories, workdays that somehow end in Lagos nights. Style in the chaos that is Lagos (home).

This debut collection “ADEPEJU (OMO DOLAPO)” is my love letter to Lagos, to Festac Town, the late ’90s and early 2000s that shaped my eye for colour, rhythm, and culture. It’s effortless dressing the Garbe way: functional but fun, rooted yet forward.
